Title –
“The Music of the Universe”
Dream Theme – Music, Imagination, Space
Techniques & Materials Used: Collage on fabric
Tell us the story behind your panel:
I like music and art. I wanted to compose these units into my artwork.
You can hear the music even in the silence of the Universe. I guess the music and the Universe are alike for their infinity, freedom, and harmony. The basic constituent in the music is a treble clef, and the major element of the solar system is the sun. They are the center of my artwork.
The planets are spinning around the sun in the solar system, while notes are moving around the stave in the music. The music symbols (such as bass clef and treble clef, a piano, the notes, the stave) go well together with the structure of the solar system (the planets, their orbits, the sun, stars, meteorite shower). The music can be swift and bright like a star shower, and it can also bring the calmness and harmony of the Universe’s smooth movement.
