What is your group’s artwork about?“We allowed the girls complete control of their panel. They wanted to simply be creative and they all did their own thing. In girl scouting one of the things we push is to allow girls to be themselves and think for themselves and this was a perfect opportunity to showcase this.”

Did you enjoy this project? Absolutely! The girls learned a lot about recycling/the planet and can’t wait to see their work displayed! If you could choose the next International Fiber Collaborative project what would you like to see? I think it would be amazing to get designers involved and have artists/students cover their runways or showrooms, or a wall in each of their stores

Techniques Used & Materials Used:Thread; needle; play dough; buttons; fabric from used clothes/garment bag
